Character, description
The pattern which forms in the grain of this wood is made up of half-centimeter rings which look like bird’s eyes. The contrast between the light and dark zones inside these eyes creates a fascinating, mysterious image. The colour of the wood, clear white to yellowy-white, evolves towards pale golden brown in the heartwood, which, associated with its striking grain, produces a deeply attractive appearance.
